About Zero World

These terms apply to the Zero World mobile apps, website, and related services provided by Oleg Filimonov. By using Zero World, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

Using the app

Zero World is a free tool for recording countries and cities you have visited. No subscription or purchase is required. An account is optional for local use and is needed for cloud sync. You are responsible for keeping account details accurate and protecting access to your account.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are below the age of legal consent where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf. Zero World is not directed at children under 13.

License and ownership

You may install and use Zero World for its intended purpose. The app’s design, branding, and other protected materials remain with their respective owners. Do not misuse the branding or copy, modify, or reverse engineer protected parts except where applicable law or an accompanying open-source license permits it.

You retain rights to the information you provide. You allow us to store and process it as necessary to operate the app and sync your map. This permission does not allow us to sell your visits or publish your map without your choice.

Acceptable use

Use Zero World lawfully. Do not access other people’s accounts, bypass security controls, disrupt the service, send malicious content, or infringe anyone’s rights. You are responsible for the profile information you upload and the map images you share.

Map sharing uses the destination you select. Zero World does not provide a public social feed or a public content-moderation system. Do not include other people’s personal information in shared content without permission.

Map information

Map boundaries, country groupings, city names, and progress percentages are provided for personal travel tracking. They may contain errors or reflect simplified geographic conventions. They do not express a position on territorial disputes and must not be relied upon for navigation, border crossing, immigration, or safety decisions.

Availability, sync, and updates

Local map features can work offline, while sign-in, sync, and some other features require internet access. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for data or roaming. You are responsible for those charges.

We aim to keep Zero World reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or recovery of lost information. Save a copy of any map you want to keep. Features and supported operating-system versions may change, and updates may be needed to continue using the service.

Third-party services

Zero World depends on service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, email, notifications, analytics, and diagnostics. Their services may have separate terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party websites or apps you choose to open or share with.

Ending use and account access

You can stop using Zero World at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account, or request assistance at themraction@gmail.com. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your cloud account.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security threats, or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the problem. Contact us if you believe access was restricted in error.

Responsibility and legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without guarantees of availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service where the law permits that exclusion.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Your mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected. Disputes are subject to the courts and laws that have jurisdiction under applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised version with its effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement before material changes apply. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
